A large, national B2B specialist supplier with an extensive branch network recognised the need to develop their offer online with a full ecommerce website. Our role was to help them understand the scale of the opportunity and how to implement a successful, predominantly organic, search marketing campaign.
How
We worked with the Sales, Commercial and Marketing departments to help develop the proposition so it complimented the offline service - in essence, the creation of an online branch that supplemented, not competed with the offline presence.
It was politically important to deliver meaningful results early on in the campaign without cutting across the existing branches by acquiring new-to-brand customers. This was achieved by extensive keyword research, competitor analysis and understanding the target customer profile.
Results
An informed, realistic search marketing strategy that enabled the business to work with their web agency to deliver a targeted user experience that allowed the business to grow significantly online generating new revenues and protecting existing.
