The short answer is : it's not.
There are a few agencies out there pitching SEO like it's a dark art or a science - to be frank, that approach annoys us intensely.
There is a technical element to SEO just like there's a technical element to printing a magazine or making a TV advert but customers aren't usually involved in every aspect of it so we just don't get why some agencies bring it to the table so much.
We are more than happy to explain how and why we do things (obviously SEO is a subject I love talking about) but ultimately SEO is, in it's simplest form, about putting your goods and services in front of the widest possible relevant audience to generate top quality leads - that's the benefit and that's where our focus is.

That's it. That's SEO in a nutshell - the dark art, the secret sauce - wasn't so special after all was it? Let's move on and talk about how search marketing can benefit your business.
Don't get me wrong, there's some reasonably clever thinking and a heap of experience that we add (else we wouldn't be here) but the purpose of this blog post is to put across the fact that we focus on growing your business - not techno-babble.

You can see from this that Dan is an unusual techy geeky guy. He doesn’t spend all day telling you just how clever he is and how us mere mortals will never understand it. What’s more he realises there is a benefit to all the techy stuff and that’s generating relevant leads to grow our customers’ businesses.
I do think though that he almost makes it sound too simple, too easy and almost not worth paying someone to do it for you. It is – worth it that is! As it is about real consumer understanding, business strategy evaluation, creative thinking and then some techy stuff.
We’re straight forward guys (and gals) and we’ll always tell it how it is. If you’d like to work with people like that on growing your business then give us a call. Scott – the not techy one!
